A playful, bold and attention catching key visual, ideal for use in both digital and real-life interactions.
DESCRIPTION:
TEDx is a program of independently organized local events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience, combining live speakers and TED Talks videos to spark discussion and connection.
CHALLENGE:
Brand the event with a key visual under the motto "Faith, hope and love" and design all the communication collateral accordingly.
Constraints:
• visually connecting all the talks;
• enabling speakers and organizer to exploit the key visual in building their own storytelling;
• straighforward and quickly adaptable on all the media planned for the event communication;
• interactive both online and offline;
• respecting given corporate identity guidelines of TED.
THE IDEA BEHIND THE KEY VISUAL

What story does the paper plane tell? Of an open and playful approach to existence, inviting us to have faith, hope and love — the things we need to surrender to life's unpredictable (air) currents.
the event
TEDxMünchen 2018 explored three timeless pillars of human connection: Faith, Love, and Hope.
Hosted at the Münchner Kammerspiele (nearly 700 seats) the conference asked what we truly believe in, how love evolves in a digital world, and how powerful ideas can reignite hope for a more just future.






Thanks to its flexibility, the paper plane key visual can be used to generate playful live interactions and games, as well as animations.
Design and production of extensive set of printed material which included: event broschure, posters, name tags, postcards and ads in newspapers.












Online
Design encompassed: social media, banner for several platforms and website, and preparing files for the motion designers to create live animation for the event and online.
